About this event
We're having a spring working bee on Sunday, November 13 from 10 am. We would appreciate all and sundry to come! Sam Saffin has been doing lots of work already, mowing and weeding, and will be coordinating us at the working bee. Jobs include lots of whipper-snippering around the runway tyres, clubroom, clubroom fences, white posts, hangars, fuel shed, tyre gully and so forth. It'd be great if you could bring as many whipper snippers as you have, fuel, and safety equipment. Tyres also need to be painted yellow and then placed along the new taxiway to runways 32 and 35. Please bring paint brushes, clean up gear for the painting, and any other painting-related equipment you have. The trees need pruning and new trees need tidying near the clubrooms. So of course, please bring garden gloves, pruning shears and small chainsaw if you have it.
